Ada Gymnasium.

JSN, which dropped its debut (against Blue Haus) before getting its first win in the season versus Saipan Vegas, leaned on its 30-point explosion in the third period to beat Old Iskool and bag its second straight victory.

The third canto that started in a deadlock, 33-all, ended with JSN holding a promising 63-52 advantage after outgunning Old Iskool in the penultimate frame. Ron Alegre anchored JSN’s third-quarter assault after delivering 10 points and he drew enough support from his teammates to break the standoff and give their squad a double-digit lead going into the final canto. Edwin Santos chipped in 7 markers in the pivotal third period, while Jun Jabar added 6, and Jun Alipio contributed 5.

The 11-point lead in the third frame allowed JSN to withstand Old Iskool’s rally in the fourth. Bernard Montano and James Abuy teamed up in a bid to bring Old Iskool back into the game with the former drilling 10 points and the latter knocking in two triples. However, Santos, Alipio, and John Gatdula hit timely baskets to keep JSN’s distance in the fourth canto en route to their 6-point winning margin.

Alegre paced JSN with his 15 points, while Santos also finished in twin digits with his 13. Randy Mungcal and Gatdula added 11 and 10, respectively, while Alipio made all his 9 markers in the second half.

Abuy led Old Iskool with his 15 points, while Ed Pangelinan and Montano registered 14 and 12, respectively.

JSN 83—Alegre 15, Santos 13, Mungcal 11, Gatdula 10, Alipio 9, Tabora 8, Jabar 6, Ocampo 6, Wesley 3, Tobias 2.
Old Iskool 77—Abuy 15, Pangelinan 14, Montano 12, De Guzman 8, Cosino 8, Grumpula 6, Camacho 4, Bartolo 3, Pablo 3, Manabat 2.
Scoring by quarters: 20-16, 33-33, 63-52, 83-77.

ort JSN made it back-to-back in the Masters Division of the United Filipino Organization IT&E…

[5

post-314478","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-sports
["GET
