The Rotary Club of Saipan has taken on the responsibility of maintaining the airport sign leading to the Francisco C. Ada\/Saipan International Airport, which has been unkempt for many years now.<\/p>\n
Saipan Rotary Club president Marcia Ayuyu said the club officially took on the responsibility of maintaining the welcome sign since late 2019.<\/p>\n
Ayuyu said that the sign is the first thing tourists see when they arrive and it shows how much the island appreciates their visit.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s really to just\u2026thank them for coming and to encourage them to continue to visit our islands,\u201d she said. <\/p>\n
Ayuyu said they have cleaned up the sign, installed lights, and are working on the landscaping. <\/p>\n
The Rotary Club of Saipan is also working on putting up a sign at the Beach Road intersection by Atkins Kroll-Toyota. <\/p>\n
