(Contributed Photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Green Meadow School\u2019s Student Council officers, students, teachers, and administrators visited the Man\u2019amko Center in Garapan last Monday, distributing gifts and singing Christmas carols to its residents.<\/p>\n<p>The visit is part of the GMS STUCO\u2019s outreach program and aims to raise awareness among students of the importance of joining activities that strengthen relationships of families and the community, according to the group\u2019s adviser, Davin Feria.<\/p>\n<p>Besides performing Christmas songs for the man\u2019amko and giving them gifts, the visitors also did a Bible service.<\/p>\n<p>Jackie Limes, a community development specialist at the center, conveyed the man\u2019amko\u2019s gratitude for the outreach.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are all royalty, we are all princes and princesses because we are the children of God. On behalf of man\u2019amko, I would like to acknowledge everyone for your efforts for visiting us here,\u201d Limes said.<\/p>\n<p>Elijah Umali, an eighth grader, said the visit was a heartwarming experience and that talking to the man\u2019amko made him realize he has to treasure his parents more and everyone else around him.<\/p>\n<p>GMS principal Milagros Songcuan said the school has long been planning to visit the center. She added that this visit will now be part of the school\u2019s yearly activities.
