(Justine Nauta)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>A popup shop\/concert called \u201cWe Are From the Temple\u201d that was organized by19-year-old Jerico Montenejo on the evening of Dec. 30 at the Pedro P. Tenorio Multi-Purpose Center in Susupe showcased several homegrown talents that ranged from singing to dancing and even a magic show.<\/p>\n<p>Montenejo, who is also the owner of clothing brand \u201cTemple: A Canvas to Wear,\u201d said he spent countless hours of free time to make sure that the event lived up to his expectations. \u201cI feel very grateful, blessed, inspired, and just grateful,\u201d he said after the night\u2019s event.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI believe it was an amazing kickstart to Jerico\u2019s very promising future of his business. Jerico\u2019s passion for art and performing truly inspired me and surely inspired the many talented performers that were featured in the showcase as well,\u201d said one of the performers, Neil Fama.<\/p>\n<p>One member of the audience said it was a great way to showcased the many talents on the island. Being in the audience, I felt comfortable and I appreciated the music from the live band and the different styles of dancing.
