(Contributed Photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Swimming Center Tsunami Saipan head coach Hiro Kimura made special mention of three swimmers for shining in the All Island Invitational Long Course Meet held at the Hagatna Pool earlier this month.<\/p>\n<p>Sari Barman and Kevin Guerrero joined the Guam meet for the first time and had impressive debuts, while Aoi Braxton delivered in the Jan. 4 competition.<\/p>\n<p>According to Kimura, Barman just turned 9 years old, but had a strong showing in the Guam meet. She raced in the 50m back and a personal  best of 51.77 seconds placing second in the girls 9 to 10 age group. Barman also did the 100m freestyle (1:32.66), 50m butterfly (47.13\u00a0seconds), and 50m freestyle (43.12\u00a0 seconds) and achieved PBs, too.<\/p>\n<p>Braxton competed in four events, also\u201450m backstroke (37.50\u00a0seconds), 100m freestyle (1:10.44), 100m backstroke (1:26.75), and 50m freestyle (32 seconds)\u2014finishing second in her first race and third in the three other.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAoi just restarted swimming with Tsunami Saipan last year. She\u00a0works hards and little by little meeting coach\u2019s expectations,\u201d Kimura said.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Guerrero joined the 50m breaststroke (36.38 seconds) and 50m freestyle (29.16) and got PBs while also placing first in the first race.  He earned another PB in the 100m breaststroke (1:21.80) and finished third in the 17 to 18 age group.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKevin really kept working hard and trained at home as well as in regular practices.
