Due to its unique taste, it has become popular in other Latin countries like Chile, Ecuador and Bolivia.<\/p>\n<p>Today, as a treat for Valentine\u2019s Day, Saipan will get to experience Chifan cuisine for the first time for less than $50 at the Fisherman\u2019s Wharf Seafood Restaurant in Garapan, from 5:30pm to 9pm.<\/p>\n<p>The combined work of Chef Juan Carlos Berrocal from Peru and Chef Peng Hui Xang from Guandong will be making this gastronomical fusion possible. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe would like to give the community a rich, quality meal on this special day but at an affordable prize. For only $48, people will get a six-course meal of the best Chifan dishes,\u201d Berrocal said.<\/p>\n<p>For starters, diners will be treated to golden spicy shrimp and cucumber raita, and Andean chicken fritters with orange tangy syrup. Soup and salad entail celery ginger hazelnut brandy cream and \u201cromance in the bowl\u201d with poppy seed dressing. The main entr\u00e9e\u2019s includes fresh red snapper, Asian prawns, and prime New York steak. Desserts include white tiramisu and Asian pumpkin ginger pie. Red, white and sparkling wine soda are included in the package. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith the line-up of dishes, we hope to stir up the curiosity and appetite of the community. \u2026We are trying to promote this kind of food at the restaurant and see from there,\u201d Berrocal said. \u201cOur lunch buffet has a wide selection of Chinese, Filipino, and Western dishes and it only goes for $8, inclusive of iced tea and fresh fruits until Friday.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Fisherman\u2019s Wharf is located along Royal Palm Avenue in the tourist district of Garapan at the back of Capricciosa and Tony Roma\u2019s. It\u2019s open from 10:30am to 2pm and 5:30pm to 10pm daily.
