Arnold Arizala, one of four soldiers from the 1990th Contingency Contracting Team, returned to Guam Friday night after more than eight months in Afghanistan, where he served as part of a highly specialized team tasked with handling all contracting actions in the Afghanistan area of operations.<\/p>\n<p>Another Guam soldier, Sgt. Robert Bamba, came home on leave to visit with family. This is the first time Bamba has been home since he left as a member of Task Force Guam\u2019s Delta Company for a 10-month deployment last year. Bamba is currently receiving medical care for injuries he received while deployed.<\/p>\n<p>The three remaining soldiers of the 1990th CCT are expected to leave the theatre of operations with the next 30 days and return home shortly thereafter.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Two soldiers from the Guam Army National Guard returned from deployments Friday night.
