(University of Guam)<\/figcaption><\/figure>local<\/p>\n<p>Three cadets in the University of Guam\u2019s Army Reserve Officers Training Corps program have been selected for paid internships in the continental United States this coming summer.<\/p>\n<p>Cadets John Bautista and Justin Cayading were selected for a three-week internship with the U.S. Army Test and Evaluation Command at Aberdeen Proving Ground in Maryland. They will serve alongside a team of Army scientists and technicians who plan, integrate, and conduct experiments, developmental testing, independent operational testing, and independent evaluations and assessments to provide essential information to U.S Army acquisition decision makers and field commanders.<\/p>\n<p>Bautista is a business administration major with a concentration in human resource management and a graduate of Father Duenas High School. Cayading is a health sciences major with a concentration in physical therapy and a graduate of Marianas High School in Saipan.<\/p>\n<p>Cadet Noel Degracia was selected for a four-week internship with the Judge Advocate General\u2019s Corps of the U.S. Army with an assignment in Fort Carson, Colo. He\u00a0will join the 4th\u00a0Infantry Division\u2019s legal office and witness firsthand how the JAG Corps provides legal support for the Army, soldiers, and their family members.
