The community is invited to attend the 2020 Women\u2019s Month proclamation signing on Friday, Feb. 28, 2020, at 10am at the Pedro P. Tenorio Multi-Purpose Center in Susupe. Hosted by the Women\u2019s Affairs Office under the Office of the Governor, the proclamation signing will kick off a series of events in March.<\/p>\n
Under the theme, \u201cContinuing to Rise: Women Leading Sustainable Development,\u201d the 2020 Women\u2019s Month Planning Committee, co-led by the CNMI Women\u2019s Association and the Women\u2019s Affairs Office, has planned a series of events to bring together a collective agenda of empowering all women and girls and advocating for sustainable leadership: <\/p>\n
\t\u2022\tSunday, March 1: \u201cDay of Prayer\u201d 9:30am at Kristo Rai Church, hosted by the Women\u2019s Affairs Office under the Office of the Governor;<\/p>\n
\t\u2022\tFriday, March 6: \u201cWomen of Action Recognition Day\u201d 6pm-8pm at the Pedro P. Tenorio Multi-Purpose Center in Susupe, hosted by first lady Diann Torres and Wella Palacios;<\/p>\n
\t\u2022\tSaturday, March 7: \u201cMeet & Greet\u201d from 2pm to 5pm at the Pedro P. Tenorio Multi-Purpose Center, hosted by the Women\u2019s Affairs Office under the Office of the Governor;<\/p>\n
\t\u2022\tSunday, March 8: International Women\u2019s Day;<\/p>\n
\t\u2022\tTuesday, March 17: \u201cMaster Class\u201d from 5:30pm to 7:30pm (venue TBA) hosted by the Saipan Chamber of Commerce; <\/p>\n
\t\u2022\tTuesday, March 24: \u201cCNMI Women\u2019s Expo\u201d featuring women entrepreneurs and artisans, hosted by the CNMI Women\u2019s Association at the Carolinian Utt.<\/p>\n
\t\u2022\tFriday, March 27: \u201cWomen\u2019s Summit\u201d hosted by the CNMI Women\u2019s Association at Fiesta Resort & Spa Saipan. <\/p>\n
