{"id":318236,"date":"2020-02-27T10:07:39","date_gmt":"2020-02-27T00:07:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=318236"},"modified":"2020-02-27T10:07:39","modified_gmt":"2020-02-27T00:07:39","slug":"breaking-news-us-congress-passes-hr-560","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/breaking-news-us-congress-passes-hr-560\/","title":{"rendered":"Breaking news: US Congress passes HR 560"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The U.S House of Representatives just passed H.R. 560, or the Northern Marianas Islands Residents Relief Act.<\/p>\n<p>Introduced by Delegate Gregorio Kilili Camacho Sablan, H.R. 560 proposes to provide permanent resident status to long-term foreign workers in the CNMI, or CW workers.<\/p>\n<p>Sablan introduced H.R. 560 on Jan. 15, 2019.
