Tenorio Multi-Purpose Center in Susupe.<\/p>\n<p>The International Women\u2019s Day will have the theme of \u201cContinuing to Rise: Women Leading Sustainable Development\u201d and is open to the public.<\/p>\n<p>At the mini-women exposition, first lady Diann Torres and Wella Palacios, wife of Lt. Gov. Arnold I. Palacios, will recognize \u201cWoman of Action.\u201d To be recognized as a \u201cwoman of action,\u201d the nominee has become the woman she is today and in the position she is in despite going through hardships. The awardee will be nominated by a person who thinks you will be a great candidate, submits your success story, along with your photo. Torres and Palacios will present the award to the chosen recipient.<\/p>\n<p>According to Annamae Adaza, community relations coordinator of the WAO, since the women in the CNMI are diverse, the WAO and CWA invited women from the Filipino community, Chinese community, Chamorro community, Chuukese community, and more to present about their culture and also share signature cuisines that will be shared with the people in attendance. <\/p>\n<p>The event will have a meet-and-greet, traditional displays of arts and crafts from every ethnicity, cuisine tasting, followed by a roadside waving.
