{"id":318726,"date":"2020-03-09T06:00:08","date_gmt":"2020-03-08T20:00:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=318726"},"modified":"2020-03-09T06:00:08","modified_gmt":"2020-03-08T20:00:08","slug":"ph-consulate-services-over-1k","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/ph-consulate-services-over-1k\/","title":{"rendered":"PH consulate services over 1K"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Philippine Consulate-General in Guam, in partnership with the Philippine Honorary Consulate Mission-CNMI, was able to serve over a thousand Filipino nationals who availed of various consular needs at its recent four-day mobile outreach at the Sun Palace Hotel in Susupe.<\/p>\n<p>The mobile consular mission provided the following assistance: 594 passport renewals, 17 dual citizenship processing (adults) and two for minors, nine reports of birth, six notarial needs, two reports of marriage, and one travel documentation needs.<\/p>\n<p>The consular outreach also did an overseas absentee voting registration for 587 Filipino nationals in the CNMI. The OAV registration is in preparation for the 2021 Philippine elections.<\/p>\n<p>Philippine passport renewal is by appointment and the Philippine Consulate General is reminding everyone to submit application for renewal in advance to be able to secure a biometric appointment.<\/p>\n<p>The four-day consular mobile service was headed by acting Philippine Consul-General to Guam Mark Francis Hamoy. He was joined by Ellen Morco, Annabelle Oviedo-Lavarez, Fritz Gerald Fernandez, Jermyn Julius Checa, and Ferdinand Villamor who handled the OAV registration.<\/p>\n<p>Philippine honorary consul to the CNMI Glicerio Arago separately expressed his office\u2019s gratitude to IT&amp;E-CNMI general manager Rose Soledad, Bhiya Canadalla, United Filipino Organization president Mar Masilungan, the Sun Palace Hotel, and all volunteers headed by Annamae Adaza for their support and assistance. <\/p>\n<p>For any inquiries regarding passport renewals and other consular services, call the Philippine Consulate office in the CNMI at 233-6293.
