Joe Miller jumpstarted Tan Holdings\u2019 offense in last weekend\u2019s game, as he canned back-to-back goals in the first half, scoring in the 26th and 29th minute. Sean Perez made it a 3-0 halftime lead for Tan Holdings, as he found the back of the net in the 39th minute.<\/p>\n<p>In the second half, it was Russell Zapanta and Kwon Pun Wong\u2019s turns to light up the scoreboard for Tan Holdings with the former hitting his target right into the second minute of the final frame and the latter scoring in the 54th minute.<\/p>\n<p>With its five goals, Tan Holdings\u2019 total is now 62, the most by any squad so far in the eight-team Division 1 and the entire league.<\/p>\n<p>Wild Bill\u2019s 3, Matansa 0<br \/>\nThough it fell to second place, Wild Bill\u2019s is still unbeaten after shutting out the winless Matansa (0-0-16) in the third game last weekend.<\/p>\n<p>Both teams failed to score in the first half before Wild Bill\u2019s got into its rhythm in the second half to cruise to victory. Tyler Willsey drew first blood for Wild Bill\u2019s, getting a goal in the opening minutes of the second half. Tanapon Unsa then gave Wild Bill\u2019s its second goal at the halfway mark of the second frame, while Adul Detdon drilled the third one.<\/p>\n<p>Wild Bill\u2019s goal total after 13 games this season is 38, the second most in Division 1.<\/p>\n<p>KFAS 1, MP United 1<br \/>\nKorean Football Association on Saipan had the second most goals so far in the spring season with its 48 after getting one in a standoff game against MP United.<\/p>\n<p>Jae Whan Rhee nailed the lone goal for KFAS and his shot in the 16th minute gave the team the temporary lead after the first half. KFAS hung on to the shaky lead in the first few minutes of the second period before Zhi Peng Lim hit the equalizer in the 50th minute.<\/p>\n<p>With the draw, KFAS remained in third place in the team standings with its 10-2-4 card, while MP United is at fifth spot with its 5-1-8 slate, behind Inter Godfather\u2019s (8-2-5).<\/p>\n<p>Shirley\u2019s 3, Sun Palace 1<br \/>\nIn the lone Division 2 game last Sunday, Shirley\u2019s FC topped Sun Palace to take the driver\u2019s seat in the four-team field.<\/p>\n<p>Panapa Peteru, Kosuke Sato, and Toshiaki Satake contributed one goal apiece for Shirley\u2019s, which now has an 11-1-5 record, one win ahead of erstwhile leader Thudercats (10-3-3). Shirley\u2019s three goals last Sunday brings its total to a division best 51, five more than the Thundercats.<\/p>\n<p>Sun Palace has 32 so far after getting its lone goal last Sunday from Hoin Ryu. Sun Palace, which is in third place with its 7-2-7 record, avoided a shutout when Ryu scored in four minutes before the game wrapped up.<\/p>\n<p>Shirley\u2019s triumph over Sun Palace allowed the former to bounce back from a 1-4 loss to the Thundercats last Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Makani Gramlich and Thomas Lee fired one goal apiece for the Thundercats in the first half, while Timothy Tawanpiy put the finishing touches on the team\u2019s easy win with his back-to-back goals in the second period.
