The park will be hosting several events highlighting extraordinary women and their World War II stories.<\/p>\n<p>Everyone is invited to explore the museum and the three temporary learning centers. Each center has activities for all to enjoy including paper crane folding at the Sadako center, learning about Rosie the Riveter in the Rosie center and folding your own Canary\u00a0plane at the Amelia Earhart center.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>On March 28, youth ages 5-10 are invited to participate in the\u00a0Icons of World War II: Women in History\u00a0program from 9am to 2pm at the Visitor Center. Pre-registration for this learning program is required. To sign up your child, contact park rangers at the Visitor Center at 234-7207 x 2020 or email\u00a0saipaned@pacifichistoricparks.org.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>At 2pm on March 28, the park will host a discussion panel featuring local women living in the Northern Mariana Islands during World War II. This is an exciting and rare opportunity for our community to hear accounts of women war survivors.<\/p>\n<p>The park will also show movies featuring important roles of women throughout World War II.\u00a0\u00a0The schedule for these free screenings will run as follows:<\/p>\n<p> Saturday, March 14, 2020: 2pm,\u00a0The Zookeeper\u2019s Wife<\/p>\n<p> Saturday, March 21, 2020: 2pm,\u00a0Amelia<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0 Saturday, March 28, 2020: 3:30pm,\u00a0A League of Their Own<\/p>\n<p>Visit our non-profit partner, Pacific Historic Parks bookstore for discounted Rosie the Riveter items throughout March.
