{"id":319572,"date":"2020-03-23T06:03:16","date_gmt":"2020-03-22T20:03:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=319572"},"modified":"2020-03-23T06:03:16","modified_gmt":"2020-03-22T20:03:16","slug":"temporary-hours-at-cuc-customer-center","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/temporary-hours-at-cuc-customer-center\/","title":{"rendered":"Temporary hours at CUC Customer Center"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Commonwealth Utilities Corp.\u2019s Customer Center temporary hours effective March 23 to March 27, 2020 are as follows: <\/p>\n<p> Cashier\/payments: Monday to Friday: 8am to 2pm Customer service: Monday to Friday: 8am to 2pm <\/p>\n<p>In an effort to slow down and stop the spread of the virus, CUC Customer Service will only be entertaining critical transactions from its customers as follow: <\/p>\n<p>1. Payments and token purchases <\/p>\n<p>2. Reconnections (existing connections) <\/p>\n<p>3. Prepay meter applications (for online\/web-based meters) <\/p>\n<p>4. Termination of service(s) <\/p>\n<p>CUC is also encouraging its customer to exercise &#8220;social distancing&#8221; as recommended by the Commonwealth Health Care Corp. and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Upon entering the CUC Customer Center, customers are expected to adhere to a 6-foot distance between each other. All customers will be assisted by a CUC employee from a window. There will be no assistance provided from the customer booths for that matter. <\/p>\n<p>Only 10 customers at a time will be allowed inside the CUC Customer Center or as permitted at the CUC Rota and Tinian branches to transact necessary business. Customers are asked to hand-sanitize upon entering the center. Do not arrive with other members of your family or friends that will not be transacting business with CUC. They will not be permitted inside. <\/p>\n<p>You could also pay your bill at a Bank of Guam, Bank of Saipan, and Bank of Hawaii branch. However, CUC encourages you to stay at home and make your payment online by visiting CUC&#8217;s website at www.cucgov.org or pay by phone by calling toll free 1-855-729-2282 (1-855-PAY2CUC). Partial payments are now accepted online and by phone and there are no fees to use these services at this time. A debit or credit card is required.
