{"id":319919,"date":"2020-03-27T06:02:43","date_gmt":"2020-03-26T20:02:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=319919"},"modified":"2020-03-27T06:02:43","modified_gmt":"2020-03-26T20:02:43","slug":"sba-8-ball-league-on-hold","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/sba-8-ball-league-on-hold\/","title":{"rendered":"SBA 8-Ball League on hold"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The SBA Budweiser Open 8-ball League 2020 has been suspended until further notice due to the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>The league, which was originally scheduled to kick off last March 10, has two division competitions: the Tuesday and Thursday divisions.<\/p>\n<p>Six teams are entered in the Tuesday Division with MJD Marianas Water on the draw and will battle Amari\u2019s Hustlers, Amari\u2019s Ball Breakers, Amari\u2019s\/IT&amp;E Destroyers, Bamboo Club 88 Str8Ball, and 9-Eleven DECM Wizards.<\/p>\n<p>MJD Marianas Water was initially slated to have its season debut against 9-Eleven DECM Wizards, while the two other pairings were Amari\u2019s Ball Breakers over Amari\u2019s\/IT&amp;E Destroyers and Bamboo Club 88 Str8Ball opposite Amari\u2019s Hustlers.<\/p>\n<p>The six teams will play for 16 weeks with the final one set for June 16, but a new schedule will be out once it\u2019s safe to go ahead with the matches.<\/p>\n<p>In the Thursday Division B, seven team are competing:  9-Eleven DECM Wizards, Bamboo Club 88 BlackB, MJD Tres Maria\u2019s, Amari\u2019s Homeboyz, Amari\u2019s Ball Shooters, VFW Assassins, and Sands Team SCS.<\/p>\n<p>Games in the Thursday Division are scheduled for 28 weeks with the last set initially set for Sept. 24. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The SBA Budweiser Open 8-ball League 2020 has been suspended until further notice due to&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":29,"featured_media":309043,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[5],"tags":[1204],"class_list":["post-319919","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-sports","tag-sba"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/319919","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/29"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=319919"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/319919\/revisions"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/309043"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=319919"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=319919"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=319919"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
