{"id":320157,"date":"2020-04-01T06:00:19","date_gmt":"2020-03-31T20:00:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=320157"},"modified":"2020-04-01T06:00:19","modified_gmt":"2020-03-31T20:00:19","slug":"320157","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/320157\/","title":{"rendered":"DFEMS expands personnel for COVID-19 response"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The CNMI Department of Fire and Emergency Medical Services has expanded the number of personnel assigned to the Governor\u2019s COVID-19 Task Force in response to the global pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>Last Monday, March 23, 2020, the Department of Fire and EMS activated 13 personnel to assist with the COVID-19 pandemic, adding to meet the required needs throughout the week.<\/p>\n<p>This is in addition to the 27 firefighter personnel that DFEMS activated last Saturday, March 28, 2020, after receiving information of the two positive cases of COVID-19 in the CNMI.<\/p>\n<p>DFEMS\u2019 primary objectives are to:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Transport passengers from the Francisco C.
