A patrol unit was dispatched to the scene.<\/p>\n<p>At about 12:37pm, the patrol unit arrived at the scene and met with the caller, who stated that the apartment building\u2019s generator had been stolen from the main floor. The caller stated that they checked on the generator about a week ago and everything was still in place and secured. When they checked on the generator that afternoon, it was already missing.<\/p>\n<p>The generator was described as a 6500-watt, orange-and-black, Generac brand.
