(Contributed Photo)

American Pizza & Grill in Garapan re-opened this week after more than a month hiatus due to COVID-19 concerns. The community can once again enjoy their two-decades old promo that everyone loves the “buy one take one pizza for free.”

“The is still our rule, buy one large pizza, get a free single topping medium pizza for free. We’ve recently added the option to get any free appetizers instead of the free medium pizza… American Pizza & Grill was established in 1990 as Bobby Cadillac’s but the owner left Saipan. We took over and retained workers and the same food,” said AP&G authorized representative John Lee.

“We offer soul food that has been maintained for 30 years. Many people try our pizza, fried chicken, and burgers when they were young so there’s a certain nostalgic longing for our food that is hard to replace,” Lee added

Lee and management felt that re-opening American Pizza & Grill was something they owe to their employees and loyal customers. “We closed due to government restrictions arising out of COVID-19. We still are not allowed to offer dine-in service. But since we are the face of Garapan, we feel the need give hours to our workers and push forward. Closing business indefinitely is not a solution to this crisis,” he said.

“We fortunately have a good ratio of local and tourist customers. Although there are currently no tourists, re-opening may not be profitable, but we feel that due to our location at the entrance of Garapan, we represent Garapan. That’s the main reason we are opening—to bring a sense of normalcy in this surreal situation,” he added.

American Pizza & Grill is open for take-out only, Monday to Sunday from 11:30am to 6pm. Customers can order anything on the menu and expect fresh dough and ingredients as they are prepared every day.

For more information, call (670) 233-1180 or (670) 287-5435 and visit their Facebook page: American Pizza & Grill Saipan.

American Pizza & Grill in Garapan re-opened this week after more than a month hiatus…

[11

post-322384","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-business
["GET
