Sports play a huge role in our island\u2019s community. Sports, specifically the Olympic Games, unites the U.S. territory, fosters character, teaches respect for others, and calls Guamanians forward in the pursuit of excellence.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>DOCOMO Pacific is honored to help Guam\u2019s athletes in their dream to compete in the Olympics and promote the island\u2019s culture as well. On March 24, 2020, the IOC made the official decision to delay the Summer Olympics in light of the global pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>DOCOMO Pacific recently aired three TV commercials featuring three Olympic hopefuls, Jacinta Sumagaysay (weightlifting) and Mia-Lahnee and Rckaela Aquino (wrestling), as well as Guam\u2019s cultural ambassadors Inetnon Gefp\u00e5\u2019Go. The key message is that their time to showcase their strength with the world is coming, but they will rise together as DOCOMO Pacific shows support by staying safe, staying healthy, and supporting each other.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn making this announcement we are proud to have the athletes join us in recognizing our front liners.
