(Krizel Tuazon)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Empty Vessel Ministry Foundation gave away about 1,000 bags of food packages last Tuesday at the Garapan Central Park\u2019s Roundhouse to members of the community in need of food since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>The food distribution, which EVMF describes as its biggest relief distribution to date, was the non-profit organization\u2019s fourth such activity so far.<\/p>\n<p>The food packages include 10 lbs of rice, a box of cereal, milk, two cans of processed meat, and a jar of peanut butter. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis was our largest distribution to date and we would like to help everybody,\u201d said EVMF president Rosalyn Ajoste.<\/p>\n<p>Donors of the latest distribution include First Hawaiian Bank, the Kagman High School Prom Committee and Senior Class, and TanHoldings Corp. CEO Jerry Tan and the TSL Foundation. <\/p>\n<p>According to Ajoste, they have given food packages to small communities like Chinese asylum seekers, the CNMI hemodialysis unit, and clients of the Center for Independent Living.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI would like to thank our donors for their generosity and for opening their hearts to the community,\u201d said Ajoste \u201cEmpty Vessel is here to be the hands and feet of Jesus of the community to reach out to those who are most vulnerable. Our volunteers are all in good spirits.
