For information on how to apply\u00a0to be a child care provider, contact Gordon Salas, Child Care Licensing Program supervisor, at 783-8599 or email at\u00a0gbsdccacclp@gmail.com.\u00a0(PR)\u00a0\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n<strong>New office hours for\u00a0BMV, HSO, and Firearms and Records<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The CNMI Department of Public Safety\u2019s Bureau of Motor Vehicle, Highway Safety Office, and the Firearms and Records office will now be open to serve the public<br \/>\nMonday to Friday,\u00a0excluding holidays. Office hours are as follows:<\/p>\n<p>Bureau of Motor Vehicle<\/p>\n<p>8am &#8211; 11am: document drop-off\u00a0for vehicle and\/or watercraft registration renewal<br \/>\n8am &#8211; 11am: -walk-in for driver\u2019s license renewal<br \/>\n8am &#8211; 11am: -updated document(s) pick-up<\/p>\n<p>BMV will be accepting incoming documents and will be processing these documents for next-day pick-up.<br \/>\nBMV continues to process driver\u2019s licenses and vehicle\/watercraft registrations. The driver\u2019s exam and driving tests are currently postponed until further notice. Drivers who are currently holding a learner\u2019s permit are asked to remain patient as the office is working on finding an alternative and safe option for the tests to be carried out in a safe manner.<br \/>\nTo prevent the machines from overheating and to prevent premature machine failure the BMV office will be processing a maximum of 50 driver\u2019s license prints per day.<br \/>\nFor more information related to BMV, call 664-9066.<\/p>\n<p>Highway Safety Office<br \/>\n9am \u2013 12pm: for walk-in services<br \/>\nFor all inquiries related to the Child Restraint Purchase Assistance Program and the Highway Safety Office, call 664-9121 \/9125 or \/9131.<\/p>\n<p>Firearms and Records Office<br \/>\n9am \u2013 3pm: for walk-in services<br \/>\nFor all inquiries related to the DPS Firearms and Records office, call 664-9072.<\/p>\n<p>All individuals who are looking to visit the offices and avail of the services are required to wear a mask and maintain the standard six-feet distance while lining\u00a0up\u00a0outside the offices and while around other individuals.<br \/>\nWe ask individuals to make payments at the CNMI Superior Court in Susupe, CNMI Treasury on Capital Hill, or Revenue and Tax in Dandan before turning in documents, as the\u00a0BMV cashiers window remains closed.
