The CNMI Public School System Advanced Placement Program is partnering with Docomo Pacific, Inc to ensure that AP students that need broadband access are provided with portable wireless devices known as MiFis to complete their online AP Exams.<\/p>\n
MiFis are wireless devices that students can take home with them to get free high-speed internet access via Docomo Pacific\u2019s network. Each AP student that did not have access to home internet was loaned a MiFi device from Docomo Pacific. PSS funded the broadband access for these students for the duration of the AP exam testing schedule.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cIn light of the impact of the coronavirus and subsequent closure of schools, the College Board developed secure, online free-response exams for each course, with exam questions, only including topics and skills most AP teachers and students have already covered in class by early March.
