The categories for submissions were: poem, essay or short story.<br \/>\nThe winners for the competition from each island are:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tinian<br \/>\n1st Place:<\/strong> Pedro Manglona, \u201cI Know a Boy\u201d $500<br \/>\n<strong>2nd Place:<\/strong> Joseph Hocog, \u201cThe Creation of LGBTIQ Pride\u201d $300<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rota<br \/>\n1st Place:<\/strong> Colin Jay S. Cruz, \u201cYour Out is My Out\u201d $500<br \/>\n<strong>2nd Place:<\/strong> Freya Deshae C. Greathouse, \u201cMirror Image\u201d $300<br \/>\n<strong>3rd Place:<\/strong> Jermaine Chloe B.
