{"id":326834,"date":"2020-07-23T06:00:27","date_gmt":"2020-07-22T20:00:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=326834"},"modified":"2020-07-23T06:00:27","modified_gmt":"2020-07-22T20:00:27","slug":"uscis-launches-an-updated-website","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/uscis-launches-an-updated-website\/","title":{"rendered":"USCIS launches an updated website"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services launched yesterday a redesigned website, which is designed with input from applicants, petitioners, and the public. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn addition to a new look and feel, we have improved the website to help web visitors better navigate our existing online tools and resources, as well as to file and manage applications and petitions online,\u201d said a USCIS press release.<\/p>\n<p>It is also making information about its processes easier to find by streamlining navigation based on user feedback, data and best practices.\u00a0The updates will be uniform across all USCIS websites, including uscis.gov,\u00a0myUSCIS\u00a0and\u00a0Case Status Online.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The new website features include:\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 A new user-centered design, which allows web visitors to easily find immigration information and options on any device;<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 A link to the USCIS online account sign-in at the top of all pages on uscis.gov, which allows web visitors to easily access their existing account or create a new one. This also creates a streamlined experience between the USCIS online account and the uscis.gov website;<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Increased access to and availability of Spanish and multilingual resources through enhancements made to the Spanish website (gov\/es) and the\u00a0Multilingual Resource Center;<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 The addition of the\u00a0Explore My Options\u00a0feature to the forms section of the uscis.gov website. This tool allows web visitors to determine their potential eligibility for immigration options by answering a few questions. The Explore My Options tool will also include additional content in English, and, for the first time, it will be available in Spanish;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 A new design, location, and complete revision of the\u00a0Citizenship Resource Center\u00a0(CRC). The new CRC makes it easier to find information about citizenship. For the first time, much of the content in the CRC will now be available in Spanish; and<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 An enhanced on-page search and filter-by features, which allow web visitors to easily find agency data, reports and policies.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>With the new web design, visitors to\u00a0uscis.gov\u00a0will reportedly ne able to quickly complete tasks more quickly, find forms that they may need to file their applications, and find information for all of their questions.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe continue encouraging visitors to use our online tools and resources, including\u00a0Emma,\u00a0Case Status Online,\u00a0Check Case Processing Times,\u00a0Change of Address,\u00a0Explore My Options\u00a0and the\u00a0Fee Calculator\u00a0for information and status updates.
