This event is an ongoing BECQ commitment to lead the CNMI in reducing littering and promoting a healthy environment. <\/p>\n<p>This cleanup is particularly notable because Let\u2019s Move Marianas Alliance is using the event to launch an initiative entitled \u201cLet\u2019s Clean Up Marianas.\u201d The objective of the initiative is to host islandwide cleanups on a quarterly basis in alliance with existing BECQ hosted events: Division of Environmental Quality\u2019s Annual Islandwide Cleanup in April and Coastal Resource Management\u2019s International Coastal Cleanup in September.<\/p>\n<p>This inter-agency cooperation affirms our commitment in working alongside our community to make a difference in maintaining a healthy environment and healthy citizens. <\/p>\n<p>Please join BECQ and the Let\u2019s Move Marianas Alliance in working together to achieve this year\u2019s Environmental Awareness Month theme to &#8220;Keep it Clean, and Keep it Green!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>To have your office or organization sign up for this event, contact BECQ at 664-8500 or email the event coordinators Edward Dela Cruz at edwarddelacruz@deq.gov.mp or Tom Pangelinan at tompangelinan@deq.gov.mp for a registration forms.
