NaRak Clothing Store opens its doors to everyone today. The new kid on the block on the island\u2019s fashion scene aims to bring hard-to-find clothes and accessories on Saipan. <\/p>\n

Yuki, the owner of NaRak, did not dilly dally in coming up with a solid action plan when the inspiration of putting up the store hit her 24 days ago.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe idea behind NaRak came from what the island needs\u2026since shopping is limited and fashion clothes are scarce, my friend in Thailand would always send me clothes. We have been doing it for quite a while and suddenly, the idea of selling clothes crossed my mind and thought \u2018why don\u2019t I just bring the clothes here?\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s how NaRak was born. NaRak is a Thai word that means \u2018very cute\u2019 or \u2018very nice\u2019 just like all the items that we sell. Now, the community has more fashion choices at affordable prices,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n

NaRak offers a wide range of retail items for men and women such as clothes, shirts and polo shirts, shoes, bags, caps, and accessories. <\/p>\n

\u201cFor women, we have nice party dresses, swimwear, beach wear, and Thai long pants that are easy to wear anytime. For men, we have nice brand T- shirts, fashion hoodies, Hawaiian shirts, and fashionable caps, to name a few,\u201d Yuki said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe also have Thai woven sandals and shoes that are perfect for the island life and they come in different designs\u2026 I make sure that the items we have here are practical, follows the islandlifestyle, and whatever I think is needed on island. We have it in the store so people do not have to resort to buy online,\u201d Yuki added.<\/p>\n

For their grand opening promotion, NaRak is giving away $50, $30, and $20 vouchers for the first three people who can share NaRak\u2019s Facebook page and get 500 reactions. The vouchers are consumable only with NaRak products. <\/p>\n

Yuki is in tune with the times as she is keenly aware of the trends on island and understand the influences in fashion and what can be in demand. \u201cOur prices range from $20 to $60\u2026 we are not too expensive because I want to make fashionable wear available at reasonable prices so that everyone can avail of the items we sell and our customers can be assured of updated fashion on clothes and accessories as we plan to update our items every month,\u201d Yuki said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am the kind of person that if I want to do something, I do it right away and NaRak is similar to that. You don\u2019t have to buy online and wait for a long time for the shipment to arrive.
