(Bea Cabrera)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Known for its Wild West and cowboy theme, Country House Restaurant in Garapan is now open for dine-in or take-out and ready to say \u201chowdy!\u201d to all after almost five months of hibernation due to COVID-19 concerns. Get ready to embrace your inner cowboy and cowgirl with their lunch specials, bentos, and all-time popular dishes like hamburger steak, barbeque spare ribs, and certified angus beef sirloin steak.<\/p>\n<p>According to Country House Restaurant floor manager Lupe Taman, their lunch menus will surely satisfy everyone\u2019s taste buds. \u201cFor dine-in, aside from the popular dishes available in our menu, we have lunch specials that changes every day and the main dish always comes with soup or salad and rice for only $10.50. For take-out, we offer bento meals for only $8,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur lunch dishes everyday will surely give the community many options when they go out to eat lunch&#8230;we know with the pandemic and unemployment, these are hard times so we try to bring menus that are delicious and affordable\u2026 dinner operations will start on Aug. 14,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n<p>Country House Restaurant was established in 1992 and to date, is still the first and only cowboy-themed restaurant on Saipan. It is the go-to place for delicious and affordable steaks and more. The ambiance will immediately transport you to the West as you see cowboy hats hanging from the wall, leather saddles, a buffalo head, carriage wheels, and even life-size Indian carving, just to name a few.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_327924\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-327924\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/Country-pix-2-300x200.jpg\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-327924\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Country House Restaurant administrative assistant Rosalinda Ada and floor manager Lupe Taman are joined by energetic and always ready to serve cowboy and cowgirl. (Bea Cabrera)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cWe closed last March 24 and resumed operations last week but all that time, we would be in the office to work on employees\u2019 Pandemic Unemployment Assistance and our phones kept ringing for inquiries if we were open. When regulations became better and after getting all our permits to open, we finally did it last Aug. 1,\u201d Taman said. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor people on the go, we have a curbside service where they can just call in their order and we will bring it to their car,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n<p>Health and safety protocols are in place, according to administrative assistant Rosalinda Ada. \u201cWe abide by government regulations to keep employees and customers safe. We have separated tables, take customers\u2019 temperature as they come in, and ask for their names and contact numbers. We sanitize menus, tables and chairs when needed\u2026 On the first day we opened, we got a few tables filled and the experience gave us confidence that we can overcome the new challenges,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor almost 30 years, Country House Restaurant prides itself with good customer service with that cowboy and cowgirl style which is approachable and full of energy\u2026 we are open for family celebrations and company meetings as we sit six persons per table and if more, we will just put the tables and chairs in the same area and still observe social distancing\u2026parking in front of the restaurant is available\u2026 Seeing old and new faces come back, gives us new energy and happiness\u2026 ,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n<p>Country House Restaurant is open for lunch from Monday to Saturday, 11am-2pm. The special lunch for today is mix grill with teriyaki sauce.
