Some 150 TanHoldings employees took part in a company-led cleanup last Friday along the Froilan Tenorio Beach Road Pathway, starting at the Oleai Pavilion and finishing at the pavilion across the JP Center in Garapan.<\/p>\n
TanHoldings Corporate Affairs\/Corporate HR vice president Catherine Attao said the cleanup is a testament to how the corporation cares about the islands\u2019 environment. \u201cTanHoldings has always deeply valued our islands, our communities, and our people.\u201d<\/p>\n
The TanHoldings\u2019 leadership team recently attended a meeting with the Governor\u2019s Council of Economic Advisors, where the role of \u201cpublic private partnership\u201d was emphasized as a necessary means to transform the CNMI into a \u201cworld-class destination.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Froilan Tenorio Beach Pathway is one of the landmarks first seen by tourists when they arrive on Saipan.<\/p>\n
\u201cMany people drive by or go to enjoy the beach, to exercise, or stop. and take photos of beautiful sunsets. The Saipan Mayor\u2019s Office has done a great job in taking care of the grounds and TanHoldings looks forward to joining their efforts in giving the pathway a deep cleaning of picking up trash and fallen debris on a monthly basis,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are grateful for the 150 TanHoldings employee volunteers who participated in this cleanup effort. Overall, we picked up approximately a total of 150 trash bags and a truckload of fallen debris,\u201d said Attao. \u201cTanHoldings believes in teamwork and we are willing to do our part in beautifying our islands. We would like to take this time to thank all the individuals, non-profit organizations, private and public sectors who take the time to beautify our precious islands, our paradise in the Pacific Ocean.
