{"id":328429,"date":"2020-08-20T06:01:59","date_gmt":"2020-08-19T20:01:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=328429"},"modified":"2020-08-20T06:01:59","modified_gmt":"2020-08-19T20:01:59","slug":"arrington-marianas-is-an-outdoor-paradise","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/arrington-marianas-is-an-outdoor-paradise\/","title":{"rendered":"Arrington: Marianas is an outdoor paradise"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Robert Arrington, who hosts the YouTube channel Deer Meat for Dinner and had just come back to Saipan from a trip to the Northern Islands, said the CNMI\u2019s last frontier is very unique and makes the CNMI \u201can outdoor paradise.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Speaking last Tuesday at the Rotary Club of Saipan\u2019s weekly meeting at the Hyatt Regency Saipan, Arrington said: \u201cI think the fact that these [chain of] islands are in succession\u2026[where] each one gets a little bit farther away, creates this wonderful challenge how far you are going to go, and each island has a different make-up. \u2026Every single island is different.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEach island has its own unique set of challenges that makes this very advantageous,\u201d he added. <\/p>\n<p>He is optimistic about the tourism prospects of the CNMI, not only as an ecotourist destination but also its role during World War II. \u201cThe second and most important issue for me is that this is a United States territory. Men and women fought in World War II here on these territories, especially Saipan and Tinian. A lot of people are going to want to come see the historical aspect, cultural aspect, and the beautiful islands themselves.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Arrington first visited Rota in 2018.<\/p>\n<p>Deer Meat for Dinner contents are hunting, fishing, diving, and cooking wild game.
