The exam is used by nursing boards in all U.S. states and territories to award nursing licenses.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRose and MJ have a bright future in the nursing field and we expect to see great things from them as their educational and professional journeys continue,\u201d said NMC Nursing Department chair Rosa T. Aldan.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_329287\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-329287\" style=\"width: 960px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/Mary-Joyce-Masongsong.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-329287\" src=\"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/Mary-Joyce-Masongsong-1024x531.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"960\" height=\"498\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-329287\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Mary Joyce Masongsong<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>According to Ogo, she became a nurse so that she could follow in her mother\u2019s footsteps. \u201cI\u2019ve always heard that the profession was hard work but very rewarding,\u201d Ogo said. \u201cI wanted to be like my mom and make a difference in people\u2019s lives be it small or big.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Masongsong said that NMC helped her in preparing for the NCLEX. \u201cI owe it to my nursing instructors for providing the foundation for my passage of the NCLEX,\u201d she said. \u201cThey helped hone my clinical skills with hands-on activities such as return demonstrations, which help with procedural content related to the NCLEX.
