In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services is extending the flexibilities it announced on March 30, 2020, to assist applicants, petitioners, and requestors who are responding to certain:<\/p>\n
\u2022 Requests for Evidence;
\n\u2022 Continuations to Request Evidence (N-14);
\n\u2022 Notices of Intent to Deny;
\n\u2022 Notices of Intent to Revoke;
\n\u2022 Notices of Intent to Rescind and Notices of Intent to Terminate regional investment centers;
\n\u2022 Motions to Reopen an N-400 Pursuant to 8 CFR 335.5, Receipt of Derogatory Information After Grant;
\n\u2022 Filing date requirements for Form N-336, Request for a Hearing on a Decision in Naturalization Proceedings (Under Section 336 of the INA); or
\n\u2022 Filing date requirements for Form I-290B, Notice of Appeal or Motion.<\/p>\n

\nThis flexibility applies to the above documents if the issuance date listed on the request, notice, or decision is between March 1, 2020, and Jan. 1, 2021, inclusive.<\/p>\n
\nUSCIS will consider a response to the above requests and notices received within 60 calendar days\u00a0after the response due date set\u00a0in the request or notice before taking any action. Additionally, we will consider a Form N-336 or Form I-290B received up to 60 calendar days from the date of the decision before we take any action.<\/p>\n
