A total of 18 students from the Northern Marianas College have announced their intent to pursue student government positions as officers of the Associated Students of NMC or ASNMC. The student elections will be held on Sept. 21 and 22 – 2020.<\/p>\n
ASNMC is a student-driven governance body at the college. Its executive cabinet is composed of students who are elected by the student body and serve a one-year term in office.\u00a0 The available positions are president – vice president – secretary – treasurer – and three senators.<\/p>\n

\n\u201cIt is great to see that more and more students are wanting to become a part of NMC\u2019s governance process,\u201d NMC interim president Frankie Eliptico said. \u201cStudents leaders play an important role in advocating for students and making sure their voices are heard in major decision making processes.\u201d
\nAll voting will be held online through Google Forms.<\/p>\n
