{"id":330298,"date":"2020-09-23T06:02:24","date_gmt":"2020-09-22T20:02:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=330298"},"modified":"2020-09-23T06:02:24","modified_gmt":"2020-09-22T20:02:24","slug":"tropical-storm-14-continues-to-move-away-from-marianas","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/tropical-storm-14-continues-to-move-away-from-marianas\/","title":{"rendered":"Tropical Storm 14 continues to move away from Marianas"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Tropic Storm 14 continues north away from the Marianas and is expected to continue on this route. <\/p>\n<p>As of 1pm Monday, Tropical Storm 14 was seen located at 24.9N 133.9E which is about 1020 miles northwest of Saipan, 1060 miles northwest of Guam, 400 miles east-southeast of Okinawa, and 465 miles west of Iwo To Island. <\/p>\n<p>Tropical Storm 14 carries a maximum sustained winds of 50 mph and it was last seen moving 360 degrees north at 7 mph and is expected to continue this slow northward motion through yesterday.<\/p>\n<p>Maximum sustained winds continue to increase and 14W is forecast to intensify further through Tuesday evening.<br \/>\nTropical storm force winds extend outward from the center up to 160 miles to the east and up to 65 miles to the west.
