Joeten Motors Co. recently donated a Honda Insight EX as a hole-in-one prize for the Rotary Club of Saipan\u2019s Goodwill Golf Classic at the LaoLao Bay Golf Resort west course.<\/p>\n
Rotary\u2019s popular fundraising event, Las Vegas Night, which was supposed to take place at Saipan Vegas this year, was cancelled due to COVID-19 restriction on social gathering and social distancing. Rotary Club president Sonya Dancoe pointed out that a golf tournament is suitable since social distancing will be easily achievable.<\/p>\n
Rotary Club member and Fiesta Resort & Spa Saipan F&B director Das Krishnan said they are expecting 120 players for the tournament. The registration fee is $120.<\/p>\n
Krishnan said that they are looking at approximately $80,000 worth of prizes. This includes three cars that are being donated by Triple J Motors, Atkins Kroll Saipan, and Joeten Motors as hole-in-one prizes, as well as two $5,000 hole-in-one prizes donated by McDonald\u2019s Saipan and Guam and Pacifica Insurance Underwriters, Inc. <\/p>\n
Registration for the golf tournament is extended to Friday, Sept. 25. Registration forms are available at Fiesta Resort & Spa Saipan and Laolao Bay Golf & Resort. <\/p>\n
