{"id":332470,"date":"2020-10-29T06:03:30","date_gmt":"2020-10-28T20:03:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=332470"},"modified":"2020-10-29T06:03:30","modified_gmt":"2020-10-28T20:03:30","slug":"tropical-depression-forms-west-of-marianas","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/tropical-depression-forms-west-of-marianas\/","title":{"rendered":"Tropical depression forms west of Marianas"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A tropical depression named 22W was seen forming west of the Marianas yesterday afternoon and the National Weather Service in Tiyan, Guam is keeping a close watch.<\/p>\n<p>According to an NWS weather forecast, Tropical Depression 22W started off as a disturbance west of Guam and was upgraded to a tropical depression by 3pm yesterday.<\/p>\n<p>NWS issued its first public advisory on Tropical Depression 22W at 1pm. <\/p>\n<p>Tropical Depression 22W was centered 405 miles west-northwest of Guam and was moving west at 7 mph with maximum sustained winds of 30 mph.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, Tropical Depression 22W poses no threat to Guam, the CNMI, Yap, or Palau. <\/p>\n<p>Tropical Depression 22W will continue generally westward across the Philippine Sea toward the Philippines in the coming days. <\/p>\n<p>NWS said they also continue to watch a broad disturbance that is currently located southeast of Guam.
