Villagomez said that there were a lot of voters last Saturday and yesterday, which was the last day of early voting.<\/p>\n<p>Villagomez described the early voting process in the Commonwealth as having gone smoothly.<\/p>\n<p>The total number of voters yesterday was not available as of press time.<\/p>\n<p>CEC election clerk assistant Edward Seman Bai said that, as of Saturday, there were 6,193 Saipan voters, and 85 Northern Islands voters.<\/p>\n<p>Bai said 139 Tinian voters voted on Saipan, while 374 on Tinian. He said 146 Rota voters voted on Saipan and 397 voted on Rota.<\/p>\n<p>On Saipan, 2124 voted at Precinct 1; 698 at Precinct 2; 486 at Precinct 3A; 1,148 at Precinct 3B; 565 at Precinct 4; and 1,172 at Precinct 5. <\/p>\n<p>The 21-day early voting on Saipan  started last  Oct. 13, while early voting on Tinian and Rota commenced last Tuesday, Oct. 27.<\/p>\n<p>Early voting started slow. As of last Oct. 24, there were only 3,570 voters who availed of the early voting process in four polling places on Saipan.<\/p>\n<p>There are 18,526 active registered voters in the CNMI.<\/p>\n<p>Tinian and Aguiguan have 1,724, while Rota has 1,931.
