TMS sets virtual PTSA meeting<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tanapag Middle School wishes all\u00a0parents\/guardians a Happy National Parental Involvement Day this Thursday, Nov. 19! 4.8-magnitude quake on Pagan<\/strong><\/p>\n

At 2:55pm on Nov. 17, 2020, a report of a 4.8-magnitude earthquake occurred at\u00a018.522\u00b0N 146.082\u00b0E in the Pagan region. Currently, there are no tsunami warnings or advisories issued by the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center. For more information, contact the CNMI EOC State Warning Point at 670-237-8000. (PR)<\/p>\n

Free webinars on federal contracting<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Guam Procurement Technical Assistance Center is offering\u00a0free live webinars in November.\u00a0Webinars run from\u00a010am to 11:30am\u00a0and\u00a0will be conducted via Zoom. Links to the live webinar and the webinar evaluation will be emailed to all registered attendees 15 minutes before the start of the webinar.<\/p>\n

Nov. 19 \u2013\u00a0Marketing to the federal government\u00a0\u2013\u00a0The government buys products and services differently than the private sector. The Guam PTAC will discuss marketing strategies, essential documents, and how to get your company on \u201cthe list\u201d.<\/p>\n

Military trainings set<\/strong><\/p>\n

ASAN, Guam\u2014The U.S. Navy will conduct training in Radio Barrigada on the following dates and times: Nov. 18 to 19, from 9am to 11:55pm<\/p>\n

Blank ammunition is authorized for this training. Residents in surrounding areas should not be alarmed if they see or hear increased activity.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The U.S. Navy will also conduct training in Agat Bay and Outer Apra Harbor on the following dates and times: Nov. 18 to 19, from 9am to 11:55pm\u00a0<\/p>\n

Blank ammunition will be used for this training. Mariners and residents in surrounding areas should not be alarmed if they hear or see increased activity.<\/p>\n

The U.S. Navy will conduct live fire exercises in open ocean at coordinates: 13\u02da26\u2019\u2019N\/145\u02da08\u2019\u2019E, 13\u02da42\u2019\u2019N\/144\u02da36\u2019\u2019E on the following dates and times:<\/p>\n

Nov. 18 to 19, from 9am to 11:55pm<\/p>\n

Marine vessels are advised to remain clear of the area for the duration of these events and to monitor the U.S. Coast Guard broadcast Notice to Mariners for advisories.<\/p>\n

The U.S. Air Force and Navy is conducting live fire exercises in Warning Area 517 up to Nov. 20, from 8am to 9pm. Marine vessels are advised to remain clear of the area from 2pm to 9pm for the duration of these events and to monitor the U.S. Coast Guard broadcast Notice to Mariners for advisories.<\/p>\n

The U.S. Navy is conducting training in Outer Apra Harbor and Reserve Craft Beach up to Nov. 19, from 10am to 8pm Marine vessels and the public are advised to remain clear of units training in the area.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The U.S. Navy is conducting training in the vicinity of Pago Bay up to Nov. 20, from 9am to 4pm The public and mariners are advised to be aware of military personnel training in the area.<\/p>\n

The U.S. Navy will conduct training in Outer Apra Harbor on Nov. 19, from 12:05am to 11:55pm.\u00a0\u00a0The public and marine vessels are advised to remain clear of units training in the area.<\/p>\n
