{"id":3337,"date":"2012-02-16T05:56:27","date_gmt":"2012-02-16T05:56:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/newspaper.ctsi-logistics.com\/?p=3337"},"modified":"2012-02-16T05:56:27","modified_gmt":"2012-02-16T05:56:27","slug":"guam-ex-convict-guilty-of-1-charge-not-guilty-of-3-charges","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/guam-ex-convict-guilty-of-1-charge-not-guilty-of-3-charges\/","title":{"rendered":"Guam ex-convict guilty of 1 charge, not guilty of 3 charges"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>By Ferdie de la Torre<br \/>\nReporter<\/div>\n<p>A 49-year-old Guam ex-convict accused of impregnating a minor girl on Rota was found guilty of one count of travel with intent to engage in illicit sexual conduct by federal jury Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>The 12 jurors, however, found Melvin David Diaz not guilty of three counts of enticement of a minor.<\/p>\n<p>The jurors handed their note to U.S. District Court for the NMI designated judge Frances Tydingco-Gatewood at 12:53pm about their unanimous verdict.
