-Dec. 3 \u2013\u00a0Cybersecurity: Federal Contractor Responsibilities\u00a0\u2013\u00a0We will discuss what Federal contractors can do to make sure they are complying with DOD requirements with respect to keeping data protected. DOD\u2019s upcoming Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification and the DFARS Interim Rule will be discussed.<\/p>\n
-Dec. 10 \u2013\u00a0Responding to Requests for Proposals\u00a0\u2013\u00a0We will walk participants through the common sections and clauses of an RFP as well as provide tips on developing a proposal in response to an RFP.<\/p>\n
-Dec. 17 \u2013\u00a0SBIR\/STTR Programs\u00a0\u2013\u00a0The Small Business Innovation Research and Small Business Technology Transfer programs encourage small businesses to engage in Federal Research and Development that has the potential for commercialization. We will explain the programs and show how innovators can get involved.<\/p>\n
-Dec. 23 \u2013\u00a0Service Contract Act\u00a0\u2013\u00a0The Service Contract Act requires contractors and subcontractors performing services on prime contracts in excess of $2,500 to pay service employees prevailing wages. We will discuss the details of the SCA and how contractors can stay in compliance.<\/p>\n
-Dec. 30 \u2013\u00a0Buy American Act\u00a0\u2013\u00a0The Buy American Act can be frustrating for government contractors. The Guam PTAC will discuss the BAA and offer some guidance on how to stay in compliance.<\/p>\n
