(Bea Cabrera)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>James Deleon Guerrero will take over as vice president of long-running local business JM Holdings LLC. A graduate of business management at Chaminade University in Honolulu, the 26-year-old came back to Saipan recently to help with the family business and re-establish himself to his roots and home. <\/p>\n<p>According to Deleon Guerrero, his father Jesus Manuel \u201cJM\u201d V. Deleon Guerrero, instilled in him a strong business sense and foundation. \u201cAs a former managing director of Marianas Visitors Bureau, he cultivated in me to have interest to help the community, other businesses, and strengthening the economy\u2026as an only child, I want to continue his legacy,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt JM Holdings LLC, we do a lot of real estate business, house rentals, land sales, longterm leases, commercial, agriculture and farming, landscaping projects, plant rentals, and design\u2026 my experience from my previous employer coupled with my education are a blessing and I want to use them here,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Aside from a business management degree, Deleon Guerrero spent  another four years taking up construction and engineering management. \u201cThat and the experience that I have garnered working in that industry has been very fruitful\u2026 My work included a lot of important tasks like  providing and reviewing blueprints and drawings on any project that I will be working on and closing out projects,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll the study and experience I have will be of good use here. There will be big adjustments but I know I can adapt with the help and support of my family. These will be my tools in the business to continue the vision of my father,\u201d he added. <\/p>\n<p>Deleon Guerrero said immediate goals is to use social media as a platform for the company. \u201cI know how advantageous social media is to any business and I plan to put up a digital base where clients can easily reach us\u2026 part of the company\u2019s long-term goal is to really help the community.
