(Joseph Chin)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cIt was so awesome to race there again, brought back so many memories! The track is actually about 95% complete. We just need to trim a few more grassy areas. But we can totally race safely and the track is very smooth with lots of big jumps,\u201d Alvarez added.<\/p>\n<p>Alvarez and the more than 20 MRA riders rounded the course several times last weekend with the MRA vice president topping the Expert Open class race. The same course was used in the kids races with Jonoah Santos, Therese Borja, and M.J. Camacho winning in the Peewee, ATV, and Minis 1 and 2 divisions, respectively.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_335669\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-335669\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/mra-pasa-pix1-3-300x201.jpg\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-335669\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Cuki Alvarez, left, watches a young rider clear an obstacle during the Marianas Racing Association event at the former CowTown Raceway in Marpi.\t(Joseph Chin)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cThe kids raced the same track, a shorter version of it. We just basically cut the course in half and kept them on the infield,\u201d said Alvarez, who got his second win in the series after beating his son Shane and 10 other riders in their division.<\/p>\n<p>Before heading back to their old turf, Alvarez and company utilized the Kan Pacific grounds and created temporary course for both adults and young riders. The Kan Pacific grounds provided a good alternate venue for MRA races, as the group worked on reviving motocross on island and getting back their former raceway in Marpi.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_335668\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-335668\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/mra-pasa-pix-2-4-300x172.jpg\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-335668\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Adult riders compete in the Expert Open class race.
