Torres and Lt. Gov. Arnold I. Palacios\u2019 wife, Wella Palacios, to offer Fitbeat classes in what will be called the Saipan Fitbeat Lions Club, with Vince Cabrera as charter president.<\/p>\n<p>According to club organizer Ladyvir Canape, Torres and Palacios will be offering the Fitbeat classes. \u201cTheir advocacy\u2026is about health and wellness,\u201d said Canape.<\/p>\n<p>The group will be at the Garapan Central Park Roundhouse from Monday to Saturday, from 5:30pm to 6:15pm, for Core Plus, a core strengthening class, and 6:30pm to 7:30pm for Zumba\/Aero dance class.<\/p>\n<p>The sessions are free to the public \u201cas their way of giving back to the community,\u201d said Canape. With this effort, the Lions Club decided to make their group official and become the 8th Lions Club of Region 2 District 204 and its \u201cguiding lions\u201d are Martha Badelles and Canape.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLions clubs are ready to help, they are making a difference around the world. That\u2019s because whenever Lions clubs get together, problems get smaller and communities get better,\u201d said Canape.
