(Contributed Photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The fledgling M2 Fitness Strong Zumba Movers capped its inaugural season with a Biggest Loser Contest, awarding the first place honors to Debbie Ong.<\/p>\n<p>Ong ruled the 21-day weight loss challenge after her 6.45% weight loss. She joined the competition weighing 130.2 lbs and then tipped the scale at 121.80 lbs at the end of the contest. Mhiles Navarro, Emily Santos, Annie Tampos, Lucelle Lampera, Mitch Olita, Catherine Attao-Toves, and Bay Waldo joined Ong in the Top 8.<\/p>\n<p>Ong is among the 135 participants in M2 Fitness\u2019 regular Zumba and high-intensity interval training classes Mary Grace Bautista and Mishael Pelicano are conducting at the TSL Sports Complex.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am attending the Zumba and HITS workout for almost four months now. While attending the classes, I noticed a lot of changes in my body, including improvement in my strength and fitness,\u201d Ong said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am truly honored and proud to be recognized as M2 Fitness Strong Zumba Movers Biggest Loser 2020 winner. This competition helped and motivated me a lot in pushing myself to be fit and valuing the importance of health,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_336417\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-336417\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/debbiepix2-300x146.jpg\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-336417\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Instructors and participants in the M2 Fitness Strong Zumba Movers class gather for a group photo after their session. (Contributed Photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Ong vows to continue her health and fitness journey and encourages members of the community to do the same or find a way to be active.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Bautista thanked all the participants of their fitness classes and congratulated them for making significant improvements. She added that they will introduce some new programs this year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cStarting this month, we are going to add Zumba Toning to our routine. We will make every routine more challenging as each day students increase their endurance and stamina.
