Sablan\u2019s measure to lift the Medicaid cap for U.S. territories:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCOVID-19 is forcing every American to acknowledge the inequities of our national health care policy. This is why we worked with the White House, the U.S. Senate, and [Guam Delegate] Michael San Nicolas to avoid the Medicaid cliff in 2019 and secure reduced match rates going forward. I commend [Delegate Gregorio] Kilili [C.] Sablan for reintroducing his measure and for the profound benefit it will bring to the people of the territories.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDisease doesn\u2019t care which part of the nation you live in and neither should federal law.
