Ralph DLG. Torres said Friday that everything felt fine.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJust a little fatigue,\u201d said Torres during his radio news briefing when asked how he feels after getting his second dose.<\/p>\n<p>Torres has also spoken with others who got the second dose who stated that there\u2019s absolutely no side effect at all.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI just want to continue the encouragement for everyone to register and be patient. And make sure that we all get vaccinated,\u201d the governor said. <\/p>\n<p>Reaction to the vaccinations have been mixed, with some reporting not feeling any side effects at all, while others reported feeling some headache, elevated temperature, and lethargy after the second dose. Others report feeling better after taking an over-the-counter painkiller and drinking lots of fluids.<\/p>\n<p>Torres received his second dose last Jan. 9. Shortly after, he said he feels a sense of relief that he\u2019s taking this for his family and the Commonwealth.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI continue to encourage our community to get vaccinated through our phase-based rollout,\u201d the governor said.<\/p>\n<p>At Friday\u2019s news briefing, Torres said he and the Governor\u2019s COVID-19 Task Force went to Rota last Wednesday to assess the health center and meet Mayor Efraim M. Atalig and the mayor\u2019s team ahead of the planned inoculation on Rota last Sunday. \u201cWe\u2019re excited to see the rollout over the weekend,\u201d he said. \u201cWe\u2019re really excited to see the progress and the success.
