(Contributed Photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>TAMUNING, Guam<\/strong>\u2014When we ask a child to think of their dream car, many ideas may spring to the imagination, such as a car that can go underwater or even fly; a vehicle that can help the earth\u2019s environment, or aid loved ones in need. Children throughout the world can illustrate their dreams and more in the Toyota Dream Car Art Contest. <\/p>\n<p>Atkins Kroll sponsors the 14th Annual Toyota Dream Car Art Contest, which is open to Guam and the Northern Marianas children, ages 5 to 15. First held in 2004 in Japan, the Dream Car Art Contest continues to be the largest international art contest that allows children to share their ideas about the future of automobiles and encourages children to pursue their dreams. <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/Draw-pix2-copy-191x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"191\" height=\"300\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-337543\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is always an exciting time for us at [Atkins Kroll]. When we receive the students\u2019 creations, it\u2019s heartwarming to see how much thought and dedication go into their art pieces. Despite the challenges of COVID-19, we look forward to the students\u2019 imaginative and inspiring artworks,\u201d said Ernie Galito, AK Marketing and Communications director. <\/p>\n<p>Students are welcome to submit their entries at Atkins Kroll Toyota in Tamuning and Saipan. The deadline to submit all entries is 5pm on Monday, Feb. 15, 2021. <\/p>\n<p>The contest is open to students in the following age categories: Under eight years, 8-11 years, and 12-15 years. Students are encouraged to create their \u201cDream Car\u201d using any standard drawing medium (color pencils, crayons, watercolors, or markers) on an 11\u201d (height) x 17\u201d (width) paper with a thickness of 5mm maximum. Digital art mediums are restricted. Toyota is looking for hand-drawn colorful artwork that illustrates \u201cMy Dream Car.\u201d <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/Draw-pix3-copy-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-337544\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Worldwide, there will be 30 finalists (10 finalists in three age categories) selected to participate in the global competition. Toyota will announce the selected global finalists in June.
