{"id":337960,"date":"2021-02-05T06:02:49","date_gmt":"2021-02-04T20:02:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=337960"},"modified":"2021-02-05T06:02:49","modified_gmt":"2021-02-04T20:02:49","slug":"takecare-grms-sign-limited-term-agreement","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/takecare-grms-sign-limited-term-agreement\/","title":{"rendered":"TakeCare, GRMS sign limited-term agreement"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>DEDEDO, Guam<\/strong>\u2014TakeCare Insurance Company, Inc. and Guam Regional Medical City announce that they have entered into a limited-term agreement under which eligible TakeCare commercial\/private sector and federal members will have access to covered and approved services under the TakeCare member\u2019s in-network benefits plans at GRMC starting Feb. 1, 2021. This limited-term agreement also retroactively covers services provided by GRMC to eligible TakeCare members for covered services from March 14, 2020, the start of the public health emergency.<\/p>\n<p>Under the limited-term agreement, and only for the duration of the public health emergency, TakeCare eligible members may continue to access GRMC as an in-network provider for emergency, inpatient, and outpatient services including cardiology, general surgery, hematology\/oncology, hyperbaric oxygen therapy and wound care, infectious disease, laboratory, neurology and neurosurgery, orthopedics, patient education, pulmonology, radiology, and rehabilitation services (e.g., physical therapy and speech therapy).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are constantly reviewing the provider network we offer our members,\u201d said Arvin Lojo, TakeCare Health Plan Administrator. \u201cThis agreement allows TakeCare members to access GRMC\u2019s medical services for the duration of the public health emergency.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are pleased to sign this limited-term agreement with TakeCare during the COVID-19 pandemic,\u201d said Dr. Michael W.
