Shell Marianas is expected to follow suit shortly. <\/p>\n<p>Mobil raised it prices from $4.08 for a gallon of Extra fuel to $4.20 per gallon. Mobil\u2019s Supreme fuel also increased from $4.53 per gallon to $4.65 per gallon. A gallon of Mobil\u2019s Diesel is now $4.38 per gallon. <\/p>\n<p>According to a Mobil employee who requested anonymity, its normal this time of year for fuel prices to rise. It is even expected since everyone is returning to work. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cEveryone is returning to work since COVID-19 kind of gave us a break. It\u2019s no surprise anymore that gas prices are increasing again,\u201d she said. <\/p>\n<p>Because there has been an increase in the average international fuel oil prices, the Commonwealth Utilities Corp. was informed that effective Feb. 1, this would affect the fuel adjustment charge.<\/p>\n<p>As a result, the current FAC rate of $0.13585 per kWh will increase to $0.14704 per kWh effective Feb. 1, 2021.
