{"id":338507,"date":"2021-02-16T06:00:59","date_gmt":"2021-02-15T20:00:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=338507"},"modified":"2021-02-16T06:00:59","modified_gmt":"2021-02-15T20:00:59","slug":"dod-personnel-in-phases-1a-1c-now-being-vaccinated","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/dod-personnel-in-phases-1a-1c-now-being-vaccinated\/","title":{"rendered":"DoD personnel in\u00a0Phases 1A-1C now being vaccinated"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ASAN, Guam\u2014U.S. Naval Hospital Guam has received\u00a0additional COVID-19 vaccines, and is holding its vaccination clinic at the Top\u00a0O&#8217; the Mar on Nimitz Hill in Asan for designated DoD beneficiaries and\u00a0personnel in phases 1A through 1C.<\/p>\n<p>Phases 1A through 1C include beneficiaries 65 years and older, beneficiaries\u00a018-64 years old at an increased risk of severe illness as defined by Centers\u00a0for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines, and individuals who have\u00a0been designated by their command as front-line workers.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We encourage all eligible beneficiaries and personnel to take advantage of\u00a0the vaccination clinic as this strengthens DoD&#8217;s ability to protect our\u00a0people, maintain readiness, and support the national COVID-19 response,&#8221; said Rear Adm. John Menoni, commander, Joint Region Marianas. &#8220;This is a\u00a0community-wide effort, and we are all in this together working hard to meet\u00a0the intent of Operation Liberate Guam 2021, which is to achieve 80% immunity\u00a0by Liberation Day.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Beneficiaries and personnel in the phases 1A through 1C are asked to visit the\u00a0following link to make an appointment: https:\/\/www.signupgenius.com\/go\/10c0c4fabac2ba7fbc25-65andolder<\/p>\n<p>If these phases do not apply to you at this time, you are asked to remain\u00a0patient as shipments continue to arrive and more vaccines can be administered.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Joint Region Marianas and USNH Guam expect to receive additional shipments in\u00a0the coming weeks.
